Very interesting article. I’m glad to know about this variance of vision. When I do my art or photos, I always put them in ‘grayscale’ to know how the contrasts work. Color can deceive from the tonal contrasts, making one think there is more contrast than there is.

Nice article. I’m colorblind, too. It does make life interesting when I’m not really sure what colors I’m looking at. Is that a shade of red or a shade of brown? Hmmm…

Great site, and I had to say, wow, that picture was taken in my former home town – Broken Hill, NSW, Australia. There is a wonderful “outback sculpture garden” on the edge of town and that is one of the sculptures.

Interesting info on color blindness. Sorry, but you were destined to get it with soooo many color blind paternal and maternal males family members. Now, Amy’s color blindness is rare.
